– Chetna is a qualified Solicitor with considerable expertise within the areas of Conveyancing and Immigration law. She has experience of over 15 years in the legal field, formerly in India at the Delhi High Court and District Courts and more recently in the UK . She has worked mostly in Property, Immigration, Family and Banking law.
Besides her legal career, Chetna maintains an active interest and involvement in community and cultural affairs. She is currently the Chair of BAWSO, a voluntary organisation, providing specialist holistic services to Black and Minority Ethnic women and children, having been a Board Member since 2006. She is also associated with Race Equality First and the Royal Commonwealth Society of Wales, of which she is a founding member and Trustee. In the recent past, she has also been a Governor on the Board of Hindu Cultural Association Wales (India Centre, Cardiff ) and has been active in the events of the Indian community in Cardiff .
